Leiden University

Leiden University, the oldest university in the Netherlands, is offering its summer school programmes starting in June to July 2011. The available summer school programmes that you may opt are:

The Leiden Summer School in Languages and Linguistics (18-29 July) offers courses on a wide range of subjects. The six programmes include courses for beginners and advanced students, taught by internationally renowned specialists.

Summer School on International Criminal Law (20 June to 1 July 2011)
The Bilingual Summer School takes place in the International City of Peace and Justice and offers a unique opportunity to gain expertise in International Criminal Law, by combining theory and practice. For more information: www.grotiuscentre.org .

Summer School on Women, Peace and Security (13 to 24 June 2011)
The Grotius Centre and Oxfam-Novib organize a summer school on UNSC resolutions 1325 and 1820, which discuss the role of women in peace negotiations, reconciliation and peacekeeping. Utrecht Summer School

Utrecht Summer School is organized by Utrecht University and HU University of Applied Science. It offers 130 strong, academic summer courses, in a wide range of subjects, from culture to law and sciences. The length of the courses is varied, from 1 to 6 weeks, in the months of June, July and August 2011.

Utrecht Summer School not only offers you a fine selection of interesting courses in all kind of disciplines, it also aims at giving the participants an unforgettable stay. During the months of July and August, you may attend various attractive social programmes, including excursions, sports and social gatherings and festivities. University of Twente’s Summer School

The Netherlands Institute for Knowledge Intensive Entrepreneurship (NIKOS) from the University of Twente, Netherlands, organizes an international summer school on “Entrepreneurship & Technology Venturing”.

The summer school answers the following questions:

“How to create a successful business?” and “How to support entrepreneurship?”

This summer school will be interesting for people (students, graduates, managers, etc) who want to start or accelerate their own high-tech business, and for people (university lecturers, incubator staff, policy makers, etc.) who want to support entrepreneurship from their university or in their region.
